We are an open podcast\/LUG that meets at 9 PM EST every first and third friday of the month using mumble.<\/p>\n

If you would like to join us all you need to do is install a mumble client on your computer or mobile device, go to linuxlugcast.com to get the server details, then just join us in the “LinuxLUGcast” room. If you do not want to participate, just listen you can connect to the mumble server, go into the “listening booth” room. If you need help configuring your mumble client there is a “How to” on\u00a0 our site explaining how to configure the desktop client.<\/p>\n

\nI was hoping we had put this to bed last year.\u00a0 Once again, the EU is considering regs that says a web host can’t allow any posts to “copywrited” content, including news articles or pics, including the link in this post, or face stiff fines.\u00a0 This means I would not be able to\u00a0 make the Mattermost server I planned for my Scaleway instance open to the public.\u00a0 Worse, if I read the article right, they may be able to go after content on non-EU servers.\u00a0 Sorry Europe, we may just have to block you.\u00a0 https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/the-eus-new-copyright-laws-threaten-to-destroy-the-internet\/<\/a><\/p>\n
